1、background
"Workshop on Building Restoration Technology" will be organized regularly by UNESCO-Whitr-AP, Tongji University and WTA-International/Germany. The workshop is designed to provide courses, case studies and discussion to introduce new international theories and proven technology for building restoration. This workshop will provide a platform for experience exchange among international and national experts of a high level to improve the Chinese restoration technology.
2、objectives
The objectives of the workshop are to introduce the new development of the research and practice of conservation and restoration technology abroad and domestic, including Germany and Chinese guidelines and techniques, retrospection of the practices, management and administration in China. We also offer an opportunity for the participants to share their experiences in the career.
3、program
This program is composed by lectures, field study and discussion. 9 units of lectures, 3 units of field study and one unit of discussion was arranged in the schedule.
4、participants
This workshop was designed concerning the requirement of preservation and restoration field. All architects involved in building restoration, members of WTA-China, engineers, administration officials, university professors and students are warmly welcome to take part in this workshop. The amount of the participants will be no more than 60. All appliers should conform to the requirements listed below:
5、teaching team
Professors and experts from universities, administration bureaus and conservation companies will introduce their research and practice and experience in preservation and restoration technology. The professional knowledge and experience of the participant will also be very important resource of the workshop.
6、5-year plan of the workshop
A 5-year plan of workshop series concerning different aspects of preservation and restoration of heritage buildings has been made. The theme of workshop 2009 is "German-Chinese Theories, Guidelines and Practices" which was formed by 3 subtitles: new development of the preservation and restoration technology in China, German technology and guidelines, preservation and restoration of modern masonry buildings.
The workshop will be held every year from 2009 to 2013 with different theme respectively:
2010: traditional crafts and restoration material in China and Europe
2011: technology of water resistant, damp proofing and energy saving for heritage buildings
2012: technology of information acquisition, analysis and administration for heritage buildings
2013: technology of structural strengthen and equipment renewal for heritage buildings
7、certificate
A certificate from the WHITR-AP Suzhou and Shanghai Center will be awarded to all participants who finished all the courses.

1、主旨
本研讨班由联合国教科文组织亚太地区世界遗产培训与研究中心(WHITR-AP)、同济大学和WTA-INTERNATIONAL-GERMANY共同主办,目的是通过知名专家授课、现场案例教学、学员互动交流等多种方式,在德国最先进的建筑保护技术和经验与中国近现代历史建筑修缮技术实践之间形成紧密对接,为提升我国近现代历史建筑保护与修缮水平提供一个高端交流平台。
2、目标
使参加者了解历史建筑保护技术领域国内外的最新研究动态与实践发展,系统学习德国有关保护技术和技术规程和国内保护技术经验,在掌握近现代历史建筑保护技术有关理论的同时,动态掌握相关的保护管理、设计、施工等前沿实践工作经验和方法。此外也为学员在共同学习过程中的相互切磋交流提供了一个难得机会。
3、课程内容
课程由课堂讲座、现场教学、互动讨论等多部分组成,由国内外经验丰富的教授、专家执教,讲授内容包括中德两国在保护技术方面的理论、规程和实践。此外,学员自身的专业知识和工作经验也是此次课程的重要交流资源。
4、课程对象
本课程针对历史建筑保护领域内的专业人士设置,招收学员不超过60人,主要对象包括拥有遗产保护实际工作经验的专业人士,国内外建筑师、结构师、工程师、监理以及技术管理者,保护技术公司代表、WTA中国会员、研究者以及大专院校师生等。申请者应符合以下条件:
(1)从事文化遗产保护,特别是在历史建筑保护技术研究、管理、施工、监理技术研究工作。
(2)身体健康,能完成课程培训所需的相关活动。
(3)愿意继续参与亚太地区世界遗产培训与研究中心今后开展的各类活动和项目。
5、师资力量
来自WTA、同济大学、上海市、苏州市在历史建筑保护管理和保护技术方面拥有丰富经验的专家学者、官员及公司代表等,分别结合各自专业特长介绍和分析最前沿的保护技术与实践发展动向。
6、课程五年计划
本课程系列计划在5年时间里,举办涵盖历史建筑保护的信息采集与管理、传统工艺与修复材料、结构加固技术、防潮防水与节能改造等内容的系列培训班。2009年度培训的主题是: 中德理论、规程与实践,共有三个分主题:
(1)中国历史建筑保护技术最新研究进展与实践
(2)德国历史建筑保护技术和规程
(3)近现代历史建筑砖石材料与结构的保护
本培训班将在2010年-2013年继续举办,培训主题分别是(暂定):
2010:中欧历史建筑保护中的传统工艺与现代材料;
2011:历史建筑的防水与节能改造技术
2012:历史建筑的信息采集、分析与管理技术
2013:历史建筑的结构加固与设备更新技术
7、证书
圆满完成所有课程的学员将获得联合国教科文组织亚太地区世界遗产培训与研究中心苏州中心及上海中心联合颁发的认证证书。

(3)旅行、食宿与生活费用:
学费中包含6月4、5日两天的午餐、晚餐费用,参观费用,课程及讲义费用。往返上海的交通费用和在上海的住宿费用由学员自理(主办方提供酒店信息)。主办方将组织上海周边城镇的专业考察与旅游,自主报名,费用自理,具体线路情况视报名情况而定。
